1. Information We Collect
We collect the account information you provide (name, email address, password, and phone number); location data, used to show nearby listings and to tag where a listing's photo was taken; photos you upload for listings or your profile; messages you send through the in-app messaging feature; and the reviews and ratings you post.
2. How We Use It
We use this information to operate the app's core features (matching listings to your location, enabling messaging between users, and displaying your public profile), to enforce our Terms of Service (through the report, block, and moderator-review systems), and to communicate with you about your account.
3. Who We Share It With
We share data with service providers that process it on Locaver's behalf: Supabase (database, authentication, file storage, and backend functions), Google Maps Platform (maps and location display), and Google's Gemini API (used server-side to help classify search requests into service categories — your messages and listings are not sent to Gemini; only the search text you type into the AI search feature is). Locaver does not sell personal information to third parties.
4. Your Choices
You can edit your profile, delete individual listings, block other users, and delete your entire account — including all associated data — at any time from the Settings screen.
5. Data Retention
Your data is retained while your account is active and is deleted when you delete your account through the in-app account deletion flow, except where retention is required by law.
6. Children's Privacy
Locaver is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of majority in their province or territory.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to This Policy
Locaver may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
